We are a community of prayer
Intimacy with God is the highest privilege of Christians. We recognize the importance of communication with God. We pray for each other. As our Source and Supplier, we expect God to supply our needs. We look to Him for daily guidance, praying that His will to be done. God is the powerful healer and worker of miracles. We are spiritual beings engaged in spiritual warfare. Prayer is a priority – for our campuses, and our society. The apostle Paul tells us, "Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6). How's that for encouraging?
