We are a community of discipleship
You've got questions? At UCM we don't have all the answers, but we certainly want to be there for you as you ask them. Quite simply, discipleship is intentional relationship. Jesus demonstrated relational discipleship by spending time with the 12, teaching them about the kingdom of God. Through the love and commitment of another believer in our life, discipleship is one of the ways that we learn about who God is. God calls us to seek out relationships where we can be mentored, as well as mentor others. Many of us at UCM can testify to the impact of meeting with another to discuss the implications of a daily life devoted to living God's way. We've found that it has given us opportunities to discuss issues that burden us, to ask 'difficult' questions, to be challenged, and to be encouraged to continue to grow more like Christ. Often having someone who is willing to listen to what is going on in your life, takes an interest in your highs and lows, and wants to pray with you is the biggest blessing of all. Our desire for you is that you can also find someone to spend time with, to pray with, and to learn with.
